Public Education Foundation (PEF) is committed to creating ways to support students even during challenging times. COVID-19 impacted many STEP-UP Chattanooga employers and our ability to place interns in internships. In an effort to offer students an alternative professional experience, we developed the STEP-UP Mentoring Program.
Become A Mentor
Can you commit to about 15 minutes per week to mentor a young person?
Mentor/mentee meetings can be done virtually or in-person with social distancing.
Mentoring is a great way to introduce students to your career field or industry.
It doesn’t matter where you live – become a STEP-UP mentor today!
Your participation will help the students of Hamilton County gain experience and/or knowledge to become the next generation of talented workers.
