From 'Outsider' to 'Family' - My PEF Internship

Initial Thoughts: Before starting my job, I was very nervous. I wasn't sure what to expect. The thought of being an intern made me think of the original duties of an intern (going to get coffee, filing meaningless documents, running back and forth to relay messages for your boss, then finally more coffee runs.) When I started my job at PEF, I was treated the exact opposite of an intern. I met everyone I would be working with and learned more about them. They all seemed very open and friendly.
